About Us
The concept for Interiors Green was born during the process of remodeling an old cape in which our family lives. We found that in the North Country it was not easy to find locally many of the "green" home and living products we wanted to use or to access information on products that are truly non-toxic and consciously produced.
Setting out to create a store were one could find all goods for a health building home, were concerns are respected and the staff is willing to research and supply the needed materials for the client. A store that offers new green technologies, age-old natural technologies, interesting and stylish products that can be used create beautiful spaces that are inviting and healthy.
We understand that concern about the indoor air quality, and the process of building and remodeling is about so much more than a new floor, new closets or even better energy efficiency. That it can actually be a process in which we can redefine the way we live a slate in which we can express our visions, dreams, and principals. And by asking ourselves questions about the impact that building and remodeling can have one can affect what we cant see with what we see every day and address in some way important global issues such as water and energy, waste minimization, recycling and reuse, pollution, local resource and labor use, old growth forest protection and global warming.
