Shipping Policies for Small Items Our standard method of shipment is UPS ground service, however USPS priority mail is used for some items. Please allow between 2-5 business days for delivery of small items. If a product arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can file a report for the return and send a replacement.
Shipping policies for Furniture and Mattresses: Shipping costs for furniture and mattresses are estimated at checkout often shipping will be free* included as discount. Mattresses take between 2-4 weeks and furniture 2-8 weeks for delivery and are shipped via UPS or common carrier. In general, the delivery people do not bring these items inside your home, and they do not take packaging away. These services, however, may be available for an additional fee. Please inspect all furniture and mattresses upon arrival and DO NOT ACCEPT any shipment that has been opened or tampered with. Refuse any package that appears ripped or damaged. Please note that you must do this before the driver leaves your home since furniture and mattresses cannot be returned unless there is a defect with the product that is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Returns: Interiors Green accepts returns for most items within 30 days of the purchase date. We do not accept returns for furniture, bedding (including pillows), mattresses, mattress pads and toppers, unless the item has been deemed defective upon delivery.
Please read below for return policies on eco-building supply. All returns must be authorized in advance by email or phone. Products must be returned in their original packaging, and be in new condition. Credits will be made to the same method of payment used for the original order and will be made within (3) weeks after receipt of your completed claim.
Return policy for Finish Building Plasters, Flooring, Tile and Stones: Building Materials, floors, plasters, tile, and counters: Gather your space dimensions or square footage, and identify which type of subfloor materials or wall substrate you have Look through our product pages and review product swatch colors--identify which colors/styles you like. Send us an e-mail or call us with this information, and we can provide you with a quotation. If you would like to order samples, e-mail us your full name, address, telephone number, along with a listing of all of the products and styles you wish to receive. We'll send you a price quote for sending the samples. Typically, we'll credit the cost of the samples to your order once you place one with us. Contact us to confirm your final selections, and we'll prepare a final quotation including shipping charges to your destination. Confirm your order with payment and shipping info, and we'll dispatch the order.
Extra Product: Please measure as accurately as possible prior to ordering your product. It may be usual to have 1 or 2 cartons left over if your cutting allowance was not fully used. We encourage you to keep these items to match your project in the event that an addition or repair need be made at a future date.
For stocked cork, linoleum, or bamboo products, we will accept returns within (2) weeks after dispatch of your order. You are responsible for paying the return freight, and a 25% restocking fee will be charged to your account. Upon receipt of the new, unopened cartons in re-sellable condition, we will credit your account less the restocking charge. All returns must be preauthorized by email or telphone. For metal tiles, products may be returned within (2) weeks after dispatch of order. You are responsible for paying the return freight, and a 25% restocking fee will be charged to your account. We do not accept returns for glass, stone, or porcelain tiles. General Guidelines & Product Information: It is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or installer of the product to inspect the product for defect or damage prior to acceptance of the freight from the freight carrier. Any installed product is considered to be "accepted," and is non-returnable.
Merchandise that arrives broken due to shipping damage, must be noted within 2 weeks of receipt of product and claims shall be submitted to Interiors Green, together with supporting photos, documentation from the shipping company, and possible return of damaged.
Bamboo, cork, linoleum, reclaimed wood, and stone are all natural products and will therefore have color and pattern variation from piece to piece. This shall be expected and is not considered a defect or flaw and shall be considered an acceptable grounds for return of product. These natural products will be affected by environmental conditions such as exposure to sunlight, humidity, and abrasives. Customers can expect that the color of the product will change depending on exposure to these elements, similar to other natural products such as wood flooring. Glass and metal tiles are produced from recycled materials. Therefore, some batches and colors will vary considerably from one to the next. Even within a single order, the glass particles will fuse differently from piece to piece, so you will have different hue and saturation levels throughout the batch. Some color groups are more consistent from batch to batch, with others more irregular. Please consult our sales staff for input on which tiles will best meet your expectations. This variation in tile color is not considered grounds for return. We recommend that you order a product sample or a few pieces of your desired product prior to placing an order. Please note that samples are pulled from current stock, so samples may not match your order exactly if it is not placed fairly soon after your sample request.
